# Components:

01 - 2 cups rolled oats
02 - 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
03 - 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
04 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - Pinch of salt

→ Homemade Gummies

07 - 1 cup fruit juice such as apple, berry, or orange
08 - 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
09 - 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup

→ Mash-Up Toppings

10 - 1 cup freeze-dried fruit such as strawberries or raspberries, lightly crushed
11 - 1 cup freeze-dried candy such as Skittles or marshmallows, crushed or chopped

# Method steps:

01 - Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring the edges extend for easy removal.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend together rolled oats, almond or peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, melted unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until homogeneous. Firmly press the mixture into the lined pan. Refrigerate base while preparing gummies.
03 - Pour fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle unflavored gelatin evenly over the juice, allowing to bloom for 5 minutes. Warm gently on low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin fully dissolves. Blend in honey or agave syrup and mix thoroughly. Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined small baking dish and refrigerate 45–60 minutes until firm.
04 - Once set, remove gummies from dish and cut into small uniform cubes.
05 - Retrieve oat base from refrigerator. Scatter homemade gummy cubes, crushed freeze-dried fruits, and freeze-dried candies evenly over the surface. Press toppings gently to secure.
06 - Return pan to refrigerator and chill an additional 10–15 minutes for bars to solidify.
07 - Using the parchment overhang, lift the snack slab from the pan. Slice evenly into 12 bars.
