Soft, chewy pretzel rolls with a bold spicy kick, perfect as a snack or party treat. These Flamin' Hot Pretzel Rolls are an irresistible twist for heat-lovers and a unique addition to any spread.

I first made these for game night and they disappeared faster than I could bake them. The crunchy Flamin' Hot topping combined with the pillowy pretzel interior has become a top request for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Dough: 3 1/2 cups (440 g) bread flour, 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) warm water, 2 1/4 tsp (7 g) active dry yeast, 2 tbsp (30 g) granulated sugar, 2 tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter (softened), 1 tsp (6 g) fine sea salt, 1/2 cup (20 g) Flamin' Hot seasoning (such as crushed Flamin' Hot Cheetos or similar spicy corn snacks)
  • Poaching Solution: 8 cups (2 liters) water, 1/4 cup (60 g) baking soda

In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Mix and Knead:
