# Method steps:
01 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and ground cardamom until evenly combined.
02 - In a separate bowl, dissolve active dry yeast in lukewarm milk and allow to sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
03 - Add eggs and melted butter to the yeast mixture and whisk until thoroughly combined.
04 - Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
05 - Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
06 - Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
07 - Punch down dough and roll out to ½-inch thickness on a floured surface.
08 - Using a donut cutter or two round cutters (3-inch and 1-inch for the center hole), cut out donut shapes from the dough.
09 - Place shaped donuts on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 30 minutes until slightly puffy.
10 - Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Working in batches, fry donuts for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a wire rack.
11 - Whisk together honey, powdered sugar, milk, cardamom, and a pinch of salt until smooth and lump-free.
