# Components:
→ Bread
01 - 8 slices soft white or brioche bread, crusts removed
→ Cheese
02 - 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
→ Apples
03 - 1 medium tart apple (such as Granny Smith), peeled, cored, thinly sliced
→ Caramel
04 - 3 tablespoons thick caramel sauce
→ Butter
05 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
# Method steps:
01 - Arrange bread slices and evenly spread one side of each with softened unsalted butter.
02 - Position half the bread slices butter-side down; layer each with cheddar cheese, several apple slices, and drizzle with approximately 1/2 teaspoon caramel sauce per bite.
03 - Cover with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, to create sandwiches.
04 - Using a sharp knife or small biscuit cutter, quarter each sandwich to yield bite-sized pieces.
05 - Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low; place mini sandwiches in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, gently pressing with a spatula, until golden and cheese is fully melted.
06 - Serve immediately, optionally garnished with additional caramel sauce.
